Each door is held in place with a mortised brass hinge. I didn't use the Brusso hinges since I needed eight of them (very expensive). Instead, I opted for some good quality hinges that weren't finished very well. Luckily, our jewelrymaking tools brought the finish up to the level of the Brusso hardware with little problem. The finish is oil and shellac. Created especially for the Alter Ego show at Obsidian Gallery.
